What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files that are placed on your device (computer, phone, or tablet) when you visit a website. They serve many functions — from keeping you logged in, to remembering your preferences, to helping us understand how our platform is used.
At TheNimantran.com, we also set HttpOnly cookies from our backend API — these are invisible to JavaScript and provide a higher level of security for authentication tokens and session management.
You can manage most cookies through your browser settings or our cookie preference manager. Note that disabling strictly necessary cookies will impair core platform functionality.

Cookies Set by Our Backend Services
These cookies are issued directly by our API servers (Node.js / Express backend). Many are HttpOnly, meaning they are not accessible to JavaScript — providing enhanced security for authentication.
access_token / refresh_tokenTheNimantran.com API (Backend)
JWT-based authentication tokens issued by our Node.js/Express backend. The access_token is short-lived (15 min) and the refresh_token (7 days) is used to issue new access tokens without requiring re-login.
design_session_*Cloud Studio 2.0 (Backend)
Maintains the active design editing session for your canvas state, undo history, and collaboration presence (if applicable). Stored server-side with a client reference cookie.
order_draft_*Checkout Service (Backend)
Persists your incomplete checkout state (selected options, quantities, delivery details) so you don't lose your progress if you navigate away from checkout.
location_cacheDelivery Service (Backend)
Caches the result of your delivery location lookup (address, pin code, service availability) to reduce repeated API calls to our location service.
